It is always a Herculean enterprise putting together a "The House on Christmas Street" tour...but this year it's extra special because it's a HUGE one benefitting a lot of charities and it's the fifth year I've done it!
If you're new to this, what happens is that every year I jump into my 2004 Toyota Sienna van (which now has 457,000+ miles on it) and roam the land, performing Christmas concerts on the lawns and in the driveways of homes where decorators synchronize their lights to music, including my song, "The House on Christmas Street." I began in 2010 with a huge tour that even took me to the UK, to the home of decorator Paul Toole. The way it's worked out is that every other year has been a large tour, and the other years have been smaller. This is a large tour yet, and I will be driving coast-to-coast once again.
I am looking for sponsors. The homeowners do not pay me to present these concerts. Instead, I just ask for three things: that they collect for a charity during my concert, that they publicize the concert, and that they provide me with an inexpensive hotel/motel room. I will soon have the sponsor donation page up on my website, and I hope you will consider helping out. As you can see from the list, a wide variety of charities will be supported by the tour, and your sponsorship helps make it happen. Thanks in advance for ANY help you can offer!
Here's the tour schedule, addresses and websites/Facebook pages for the displays, plus the charities that will be supported at each stop:
Hope to see you out there on the road!!
